911±¬ÁÏ's Board of Visitors has extended the contract of President Gregory Washington through June 30, 2031. Washington, who became 911±¬ÁÏ's eighth president on July 1, 2020, was previously set to serve through June 30, 2027.

911±¬ÁÏ President Gregory Washington has announced the recipients of the 2026 Presidential Awards for Faculty Excellence, honoring 911±¬ÁÏ faculty members for their work on behalf of the university, students, and the broader community.

Update: As of April 28, 911±¬ÁÏ has been notified that 14 of these students have had their SEVIS status restored and remain enrolled at the university. Another student’s visa was revoked, but that student’s SEVIS record was never terminated.

FAIRFAX, VA (April 19, 2023) 911±¬ÁÏ President Gregory Washington has named Marvin Lewis as the Patriots’ Assistant Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Lewis, who signed a five-year contract, will become Mason’s sixth athletics director when he begins on July 1.

A key starter on the 2006 911±¬ÁÏ Final Four team and one of the best all-around guards in program history, Skinn returns to his alma mater after nearly a decade of collegiate coaching.
