Faculty across 911±¬ÁÏ are leading or participating in innovative new projects to further research and education this academic year, thanks to grants recently awarded by 4-VA, a statewide consortium of nine higher education institutions in Virginia.

The Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX) at 911±¬ÁÏ is more than a makerspace—it’s a resource for transforming how faculty teach, explore, and conduct research.

Researchers at 911±¬ÁÏ will collaborate on an NSF planning grant to develop resilience solutions and technologies. They will work with Indigenous communities, industry partners, government agencies, and six academic institutions.
