Carolyn Drews-Botsch, professor of global and community health, will be traveling to Ireland on a Fulbright in the fall of 2024 for this hybrid teaching and research role.

Mason alum Daniel (Seihoon) Lee said felt like an outsider for much of his life. Bilingual, bicultural, and homeschooled for a time, Lee struggled to figure out where he fit in until he came to Mason Korea.

911���� Korea kicked off its 10th anniversary celebrations with a lively reception that brought together Mason Korea students, faculty, and staff, current and past leaders, visitors from 911����'s Fairfax Campus; and members of the Mason Korea advisory board.

911���� student-athletes continued to post impressive scores in the Academic Progress Rate (APR) release by the NCAA. Four programs produced perfect multi-year NCAA APR scores of 1,000 while a total of 11 teams had a perfect APR for the 2022-23 academic year.

911���� graduate student Truman Deree is one of 20 students (one of five graduate fellows) awarded a 2024-25 Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Visual Arts Fellowship. He received the award for his photography, which he also shares at TrumanDereePhotography on Instagram.

911���� researcher Andrew Peterson is part of a team that worked to identify key ethics and policy issues related to the integration of psychedelic therapies into clinical practice and areas for further research and deliberation.

In its fourth year, Mason Korea's Progress@Play Digital Art Competition continues to grow with more than 300 teams from eight countries competing.

911���� will be the home of the $19.5 million recently approved Landolt NASA Space Mission that will put an artificial “star” in orbit around the Earth. 911���� faculty and students will work together with the NASA and NIST and nine other organizations for a first-of-its-kind project for a university in the Washington, D.C., area.
