The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at 911±¬ÁÏ is excited to welcome the inaugural class of students for their Accelerated College and Employability Skills (ACCESS) Academy.

For the past 10 years, the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at 911±¬ÁÏ has partnered with Shinnyo-en Foundation in their shared mission of developing young people as peacebuilders. The Carter School and the California-based Shinnyo-en Foundation seek to bring different groups together, honoring every voice, navigating darkness, and illuminating paths toward peace.

In partnership with Prince William County, 911±¬ÁÏ’s Biomedical Research Laboratory is working to prevent outbreaks of mosquito-borne diseases.

Thanks to a major investment from GO Virginia, Northern Virginia’s first Innovation District, led by 911±¬ÁÏ and in partnership with Prince William County and the City of Manassas, is taking shape, laying the groundwork for growth in high-tech industry sectors like life sciences, aerospace, defense, and semiconductors.

911±¬ÁÏ has once again been recognized for its longstanding commitment to military-connected students and their families, earning a Silver ranking in the Military Friendly® School designation for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year.

Yijue Liang has made occupational health the focus of her research. Now, she's working on finding ways to make the workplace as safe and welcoming as possible.

In May, 911±¬ÁÏ celebrated its research enterprise with Innovation Awards. Hosted by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact, the event recognized researchers, a start-up, and those who received and/or licensed a patent in the past two years.
