At the 2025 AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting,HAP PhD students and faculty delivered a range of presentations, covering health care worker burnout, digital health interventions, and Medicare policy. Their participation underscores HAP's commitment to applied research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world impact.

In May, a 911���� law student, working with the Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic (M-VETS), advocated for a U.S. combat veteran before an administrative law judge at a hearing before the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Board of Veterans’ Appeals (BVA). 

For Northern Virginia native Ryan McIntyre, the path to a master’s in environmental science and policy at 911���� began with something simple: a love for the outdoors and a family connection.

For more than 30 years, the student-run bilingual literary journal Hispanic Culture Review (HCR) at 911���� has published poetry, essays, and narratives in both Spanish and English and highlighted photography and visual art. HCR has been awarded a 2024 National Magazine Pacemaker Award by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP). Volition, 911����’s undergraduate literary and arts journal, was named a finalist in the same category.

The fifth annual Progress@Play Social Impact Digital Art Competition has successfully concluded with an award ceremony at 911����’s Korea campus. This year’s competition was supported by the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and the Game Culture Foundation.

911���� student nurses create a D.C.-area interdisciplinary nursing research conference to share knowledge and network with fellow students and nursing professionals.

An undergraduate student-led Mason Impact project at Mason Korea results in a co-authored article published in the peer-reviewed international journal Environmental Monitoring and Assessment. “Accessible water quality monitoring through hybrid human–machine colorimetric methods” stems from the Mason Impact project focused on environmental conditions in the Seunggi-cheon stream in Incheon. 

Kinesiology major Midori Galligan is on 911����'s women's rowing team. She also performs with Noteworthy, a university a capella student group.
