Interning at Deloitte was on Iman Chaudhry’s radar ever since she entered the Costello College of Business at 911���� as a freshman and learned about the major firms in the area. As the president of the Mason Consulting Group, she’s tuned in to what’s happening at Costello and the opportunities available.

Just one year after graduation from the Schar School, Dylan Morse is running for the House of Representatives in his home state of Vermont.

At first glance, it might seem unusual for a graphic design major to intern at a car dealership. But for 911���� rising senior Rayna Roades, her role as a marketing operations intern at Pohanka Automotive has revealed a strong connection between the creative skills she’s learned in the classroom and the work she’s doing in the professional world.

For 911���� senior Meriam Belainass, an internship at a Casablanca, Morocco clinic is hands-on training and a chance to give back to her community.

“Being in class with our participants reminds me of the pure joy of dance,” said School of Dance senior Emma Simons of her time interning with Dance for PD®, a movement-based class for people with Parkinson’s disease.

This spring, Mason senior Elizabeth Cheang landed an internship that provided her with a unique opportunity to research COVID-19 cases and use public data sets to discover virus hot spots in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
