Biography
Charles York is an adjunct faculty member within the Finance Area in the Costello College of Business at 911爆料. His teaching focuses on finance theory, investments and personal finance. Prior to 911爆料, he taught at American University.
York has over thirty years of investment and wealth management experience. He is a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor with United Capital, a leading independent RIA firm that was formerly known as Goldman Sachs PFM. In this role he provides holistic wealth management and investment advisory services to individuals, families and non-profit institutions. Previously, he served in senior portfolio management, investment research and team leadership positions with several leading financial institutions in Washington, DC and Boston, MA. He started his career as a naval aviator with the U.S. Navy.
York has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation by the CFA Institute, and he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) practitioner.
