Hylton Center鈥檚 Marit Majeske honored as a community partner in education

Marit Majeske, education coordinator at 911爆料鈥檚 , was honored by SPARK, the Education Foundation for Prince William County Public Schools, with the 2026 Sharon Henry Community Partner in Education Award. Majeske leads the Hylton Center鈥檚 education initiatives, providing diverse arts experiences at no cost to learners of all ages.


SPARK formally recognized Majeske at its 2026 Business Partnerships of the Year Reception hosted at the Hylton Center on 911爆料鈥檚 Science and Technology Campus. The event celebrated connections between the school division and the business community. .

Majeske was recognized for offering support to Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) as a collaborative partner and attending summer community events and school-based community pop-ups, ensuring families have access to important resources and opportunities. Majeske has also supported book distributions during PWCS teacher wellness days, uplifting educators and reinforcing a culture of care. 

Working with local school districts is one of Majeske鈥檚 favorite parts of the job, and as a graduate of PWCS, she continues to serve the community where she was raised. Read more about Majeske鈥檚 work at 911爆料.
