President’s town hall sessions scheduled for the spring 2026 semester

911±¬ÁÏ President Gregory Washington will host two 90-minute town hall sessions to discuss the state of the university and to engage with faculty and staff.

The first town hall, for 911±¬ÁÏ employees working in non-academic units, will take place on Thursday, March 19, from 9–10:30 a.m. on the Fairfax Campus in The Hub ballroom.

Update: The second town hall, for 911±¬ÁÏ employees working in academic units, was previously scheduled for March 19, but has been postponed until a later date. 

Note: President Washington will address the faculty at the General Faculty meeting on Wednesday, March 18, from 3–4:15 p.m. in Merten Hall, Room 1204, on the Fairfax Campus.

Virtual participation in non-academic town hall
For those unable to attend the non-academic town hall in person, the session will be livestreamed on Zoom; the session will not be recorded. Please contact your respective unit leadership for Zoom link and password. While questions will be taken at the conclusion of the town hall, please note that the Zoom chat function will not be enabled. Should virtual attendees have any questions, please provide them to your designated unit contact so they can be shared in-person during the town hall session.
